This request to the United States Geological Survey is in reference to the $15 million allocated by the Office of Coal Management to the Ames District for use in hydrologic assistance. At this time and stage of access and interpretation of existing data on record in the form of computer storage and publications in print that we may not be aware of is our main concern. Due to the US Geological Survey having vast storage of and access to this data we would like to suggest the available funds be used in two areas.
