about
Since 1995, Hurley Write, Inc., has been
designing, developing, and teaching writing courses for
large and small firms. Our clients include biotechnology,
life sciences’, drug development, and Pharma firms;
government agencies; computer companies; and a variety
of other industries. We’ve also worked with hospitals,
lumber companies, research firms, and in many other industries
teaching staff how to write effectively and efficiently.
We’ve designed and written training manuals, SOPs,
and other kinds of documents. Our vast experience and
ability to customize our writing courses makes us ideally
suited to help your staff write more efficiently and
effectively.
Hurley Write, Inc., specializes in developing writing
training modules for biotechnology,
Pharma, and life sciences' firms. We also provide training for government
agencies, computer firms, and other organizations involved in
writing.
Our focus is simple: rather than focusing on outdated
writing myths or grammar, we customize our writing
classes to provide your staff with tools they need
to communicate scientific, technical, or medical
information precisely and concisely.
Because we understand the kinds of documents written
in contract and clinical research, Pharma, drug,
life sciences, and biotechnology firms, we know the
multiple and often complex writing tasks your staff
faces, and we ensure that our writing
classes address those needs.
Our writing series begins with "cornerstone" modules,
general courses that introduce concepts of audience,
purpose, critical thinking, and organization. We
build upon these with more specialized
modules that focus on the specialized
documents your staff writes.
Of course, because we understand that good writing
takes time and doesn't come easily to many people,
we also provide individual coaching and lots of written
feedback that asks writers to focus on the choices
they have when writing, thereby encouraging critical
thinking and good decision-making. Finally, our classes
are taught by professionals with experience in the
field, ensuring you of the best quality modules that
meet your needs.
